A Place Where Everyone Belongs

Creating Memories for Individuals with Disabilities through the camping experience.

Our legacy spans generations of campers and volunteers who have become family through their shared experiences around the campfire.

About Our Camp

We are a volunteer-led organization with the mission of “creating enjoyment and memories for youth and adults with disabilities through the camping experience.” With the Big Horn Mountains of Story, WY in the background, we enjoy fun-fi lled days of swimming, crafts, games, dancing and more. This is a place where differences disappear and joy takes over.

Camp Story is a summer camp and retreat center nestled on 17 acres in the pines of Story, Wyoming. It hosts a dining hall, indoor chapel, bath house, 5 large cabins and 2 campfire sites.

Our Camps

  • Youth Camp:  For children age 5 to 18 with one-on-one counseling to provide direct care, focused support, and ongoing supervision while engaging in group activities.
  • Traditional Adult Camp: For adults who prefer an active camp session with a full schedule of activities from morning to night. Support and guidance is offered through a group counselor approach.
  • Supported Adult Camp:  For older adults or those who prefer a shorter, slower-paced camp experience or who need an elevated level of personal care support. For the best camp experience, caregivers often accompany these campers.
  • Independent Adult Camp:  For adults with minor disabilities who often live independently and function with minimal support. Counselors are available to provide guidance and companionship.
